Learn how to use pesterlog-fanfic.
Render custom pesterlogs
Set ?gist={gist-id}
in the URL, and it will be dynamically inserted into a page.
Share it with your friends!
Set the colors of the participant's dialogue
Set colors by using &{name}={color-code}
.
For example, you could write rosemary fanfic using &TT=b536da&GA=008141
.
You can also use some character names as color codes, so you could write that same fanfic with &TT=rose&GA=kanaya
.
Rename characters in your script
Rename a character using &{code}:{name}={color-code}
.
For instance, if you want Dirk, and Dirk's autoresponder both in the same chat, then you could use &DIRK:TT=f2a400&AR:TT=e00707
.
Pester folks with their handle and their name
If you specify a full handle in your url, via &{handle}[{name}]={color-code}
or &{code}:{handle}[{name}]={color-code}
, then they can be highlighted in more places.
To show AR pestering Dirk, the URL should contain &DIRK:timaeusTestified[TT]=f2a400
.
If you have it properly set up, writing "uranianUmbra [UU] began cheering tipsyGnostalgic [TG]" in your script will just color itself correctly.
You have to use their script name, not just their display name, so "timaeusTestified [AR] began pestering timaeusTestified [DIRK]" is what you'd need to type to get them colored differently.
It even handles 's
, like in "carcinoGeneticist's [CG'S] computer exploded."
Set your log type using &logtype={type}
If you don't set one, it defaults to &logtype=pesterlog
.
